You pick the pace
Weekly, every other week — whatever your life allows. Sessions are online, private, and yours.
Evidence-based. Grief-informed. Built for real life.
Sessions blend CBT, DBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing with strength-based, trauma- and grief-informed care. Practical skills you'll actually use, at a pace that respects where you are. Sessions are online, anywhere in New Jersey — most teens and young adults find it fits their lives better.
Chandni Kapadia, M.Ed., M.A., LPC
Founder, Bright Room Therapy. I built this practice because I kept meeting teens and young adults who were "fine on paper" and struggling in private — and parents who loved them fiercely but couldn't find the door in. Columbia-trained, a decade across schools and adolescent care, and certified in the work this practice is built on.
Clear from the start.
Insurance via Headway
In-network billing handled through Headway — you see your cost before the first session.
Private pay — $200
Per session. Superbills provided; most PPO plans reimburse 60–70% of the fee, and I make the paperwork easy.
Reduced-rate slots
A limited number of reduced-rate openings are held for young adults. Just ask — no proof, no pressure.
Private-pay clients receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before starting care, as required by the federal No Surprises Act.
The practical things.
Do you take insurance?
Yes — through Headway. If I'm out-of-network for your plan, most PPO plans reimburse 60–70% of the session fee, and I provide the paperwork (superbills) to make that easy.
What are your fees?
Insurance via Headway; private sessions are $200. A limited number of reduced-rate slots are held for young adults.
Is everything online?
Yes — secure telehealth for clients located anywhere in New Jersey, with a private, confidential setup on your end.
My teen is the client. What do I get to know?
We set this up clearly at intake: session content stays private so therapy works; anything safety-related always comes to you. You'll never be in the dark about safety.
